About the Artist
Jacqui Binford-Bell's works
celebrate the uniqueness of
the Mountain West.
Working in a variety of water
media on canvas and board,
Jacqui translates her special
vision of New Mexico, Colorado,
Utah and Arizona to enchant the
viewer. Her work is the visionary
expression of the landscape in
fauve colors that delight the
senses.
A fine arts graduate of the
University of New Mexico, she
has worked in a variety of
mediums from fiber to
watercolor. Mixed media is her
current love. "I am willing to use
anything at hand which helps
me to convey the mood of the
scene I am transferring to the
two dimension surface." And
she has been rewarded for her
efforts with many Awards
including Best of Show in the
2009 Red River Fine Arts and
Wine Festival, and the 2008
MVAC Reflections Themed
Exhibit.
